Aruba – Welcome to One Happy Island!

Aruba is a small island in the southern Caribbean that is known for its beautiful beaches and vibrant culture. With so many activities to choose from, it can be hard to decide what to do during your stay, which is exactly why you should talk to Eco Destination Management before making your plans, and explore all that this fabulous island has to offer.

Here are some of most interesting things we think there is to do in Aruba, but of course we can plan anything to meet the requirements of your own group trip!

Explore Arikok National Park: This park covers 20% of the island and is home to a diverse array of wildlife, and you will be able to spot iguanas, goats, and a wide variety of birds at any time of the year. There are several hiking trails taking you through the park, providing breath-taking views and the opportunity to learn about the local flora and fauna with our dedicated guide.

Visit the Alto Vista Chapel: This historic chapel is one of the oldest on the island and is a great place to learn about the religious history of Aruba. The chapel is located on a hilltop and offers panoramic views and photo opportunities.

Snorkel or dive at the Antilla Wreck: This German freighter was purposely sunk in 1940 and has since become a popular dive site. The wreck is home to a variety of marine life, including colourful fish and coral. Snorkelling or diving at the Antilla Wreck is a great way to experience the beauty of Aruba’s underwater world. For non-divers, why not take a crash course whilst you are here, so you too can enjoy the beauty of the underwater world?

Take a scenic drive to the Natural Bridge: This natural rock formation is one of Aruba’s most famous landmarks. The bridge was formed over centuries as the waves eroded the limestone, creating a natural arch. The drive to the Natural Bridge takes you through the island’s rugged interior and provides stunning views along the way.

Enjoy the nightlife in Oranjestad: Aruba’s capital city is known for its lively nightlife scene. Whether you’re looking for a quiet drink at a bar or a wild night of dancing, you’ll find plenty of options in Oranjestad. There are also several casinos for those who like to gamble.

These are just a few of the many interesting things to do in Aruba, travelling individually or as part of a group. Whether you’re an adventure seeker or just looking to relax, you’ll find plenty to keep you entertained on this beautiful island – and we have many more ideas, so all you need to do is talk to us.
